COE is on the Airwaves

The College of Engineering is featured in the radio show "Itanong Mo Kay Engineer" for all Mondays of February. The show is aired from 6 to 7PM at the College of Mass Communications' station, DZUP at AM 1602. The topics that have been discussed so far are Engineering Education (Feb. 1), with Dean Guev as resource person, followed by the topic on earthquakes, which featured Dr. Benito M. Pacheco, director of ICE. On Feb. 15, the topic was on floods with NHRC Director Dr. Glen Tabios as featured guest. Tomorrow, Feb. 22, the show will tackle the issue of automated elections and will feature former EEE chair Dr. Manuel Ramos.

The show, which is co-hosted by Dr. Aura Matias, is one way for the College to share its expertise and knowledge in a more popular form to be able to educate more Filipinos regarding various burning issues of the day.
